The summer season is quickly approaching, which means more and more people are ready to get out and about to enjoy the summer weather. Whether you’re heading out of town for a road trip, or plan to hit up the pool everyday, one thing that you will need to get you from point A to point B is your car. If you want to make sure that your car is running as safely and as efficiently as possible, follow these simple and easy steps to get your car ready for summer.

  1. Check Your Tire Pressure: Check the tire pressure to ensure that you are driving safely. Over-inflation and under-inflation are both dangerous when extreme temperatures are present, like the summer heat.
  2. Check Your Radiator: To keep your car running efficiently, your radiator needs to be running properly. Get your radiator checked out to ensure that there are no problems to address before the summer season.
  3. Check Your Temperature: An easy way to check the temperature that your is putting out is to stick a thermometer through the air vent in your car. Compare the number on the thermometer to the number that your car is showing on the dash to be sure that your car is cooling off properly.

Before the summer season and hot temperatures hit the bluegrass, follow these simple steps to ensure that your car is ready for the summer.
